2015 in Review

2015 was a big year for us in a lot of ways. We didn’t start out the year with a ton of lofty goals beyond “get married” and “don’t ruin ourselves financially,” so I think we did pretty well in that aspect. 2 for 2 so far. I guess my other goal was to update the blog more regularly, and I only updated 10 times (11 if I actually publish this one in 2015…(haha! didn’t happen)), so that was a bust. It’s an easy goal to beat for 2016 though!

So what did we do?

Some highlights were…

  • Traveled to 4 different states (California, Alaska, Oregon, Texas)
  • We visited 4 different National Parks (Olympic, Mount Rainier, North Cascades, and Glacier Bay)
  • Read at least 20 books between us
  • Went to Disneyland twice
  • Attended our first Acroyoga convention in Portland
  • Attended 3 weddings besides our own and were in 2 of them
  • We got married!
  • 2015-1

    Month-by-month breakdown…

January – We went to Disneyland for the first time ever! Spenser began his 3-month funemployment after getting laid off.
February – Zoe was diagnosed with cancer, so that was a pretty big downer that hung over our heads for most of the year.
March – travelled to Dallas for our friends’ beautiful wedding!

November – We worked, I went to Disneyland again, and didn’t really do anything super exciting, which was kind of a nice change of pace.

December – We cut down our first real Christmas tree at our wedding venue!
